Puran Khadka is one of the most important abstract painters of Nepal. He invented a new language of forms to express his inner spiritual visions rooted in timelessness. Throughout many difficult periods, he has continued to refine and perfect the abstract language of 21st century art.
Recently, NepalArtGallery.Org’s editor Rabin Koirala spoke with Puran Khadka at his NAFA studio. 

N.A.G.O.: Namaskar and welcome to NepalArtgallery.Org.
Khadka: Namaskar.

N.A.G.O.: What is your definition of ART? In which medium are you working?
Khadka: Art is a form by which we express ourselves. I am attached to the art of painting.

N.A.G.O.: In which trend does your art belong? Would you like to explain?
Khadka: All my art belongs to the abstract style.

N.A.G.O.: Why did you choose art as your way of self expression?
Khadka: I chose art because it is the best way I can express myself, express my being.
